August - To illustrate this poetic quote the team searched Tuscany for just the right kind of classic landscape that would provide a background for a thousand ‘dancing’ leaves - eventually five different shots were needed to create the perfect look. The leaves were painstakingly hung one at a time onto nylon thread in the studio, matched against a projected image of two dancing figures and lit to complement the Italian sunset. Then all the transparencies were assembled on system to create a modern interpretation of this classic line.
