July - Denise wanted to look glamorous for her portrait rather than appear in a sporting pose. Bob saw a new dress by Deborah Milner in the fashion pages of the Telegraph and we had to have it for the shot. Although initially reluctant to allow the dress to be lent out as it was an original, Bob eventually convinced the designer that it was the right look for Denise and on the day of the shoot Denise was carefully prised into the dress which was incredibly tight. So tight that this gold medallist had to be repeatedly lifted on and off the plinth that she was standing on.
