This recreation of a ‘Vogue’ fashion shoot was a single shot completed with a backdrop from Botticelli’s Venus blown up onto boards from a 35mm transparency. Shot on the hottest day of the year in a studio in London without air-conditioning this image was probably the most challenging as everything had to be right at the same time - there was no comping done for this shot.
