To get authentic, guaranteed, Mediterranean light the crew flew to Tuscany with the model and found a location in Florence for this shot. The supporting models were cast locally and the dresses were flown in especially for the shoot. The background of the shot was further blurred to focus attention on the all-important glance over the shoulder.
