February - The famous rose-red city of Petra in Jordan was the location for this dramatic landscape. Once again the tourist problem arose as sunbathers perched on top of the famous Monastery temple which forms the focal point of the image. Fortunately the calendar team outlasted them, waiting until the early evening when the light was perfect.
