May - Perhaps the most epic of the 1994 shoots, "Chess" was shot in a massive studio previously used as the setting for a rock video by Queen. The chess board and pieces were all life-size, specially built to match the field of view of the camera lens. The model, Khefri, wore clothes by Vivienne Westwood, including the shoes which Naomi Cambell had worn when she famously took a tumble on the catwalk just a few months before.
